Polychronopoulos, Antonis, Assistant Director of Athletics

Mr. Polychronopoulos was born and raised in Athens, Greece. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education & Sports Science from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, specializing in Basketball (2016). He also has acquired the A category Basketball Coach Certification from the General Secretariat of Sports. Additionally, he holds a Master's degree in «Exercise and Quality of Life» with the orientation: Organization of Physical Activity and Sports Recreation from the Democritus University of Thrace.  

Antonis brings a wealth of experience to the table, both as a former semi-professional basketball player and as a dedicated coach. With a strong passion for sports education, Antonis has spent years as a basketball coach and academy director at top clubs like Olympiakos and Cholargos.

Last but not least, he has been teaching Physical Education at ACS Athens in the elementary school and has also been a member of the ACS Summer Camp team for the past four years.

This year, he is excited to take on the role of Assistant Director of Athletics!
