Mr. Charachousis was born and raised in Athens, Greece. He is a former competitive swimmer with national awards. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education & Sports Science (ESP) pathway, with specialty in swimming.
He has been at Holmes Place as a pool instructor as well as a personal trainer. In addition, he has worked as a coach for the swimming team of the island of Paros for (3) months in 2014, 2015, 2016. He is also a certified lifeguard.
Mr. Charachousis has been working as a lifeguard for the municipality of Paros on 2012. He also has a Certificate of Proficiency in English.
Ms. Pavloglou Efstratia was born and raised in Athens, Greece. She is former Greek champion in cycling. She hold Bachelor degree in Physical Education & Sports Science from the Democritous University of Thrace, specializing in Physical Education to person with disabilities and Sport Management. She is in process of a Master in Part of Biomechanics of Department of Physical Education from Democritous University of Thrace. She has taken part as volunteer at many sport events like Olympic and Paraolympic Games, Special Olympics and Sport Conferences.
Ms. Pavloglou is certified Swimming Coach of American Assotiation, and is a certified lifeguard. She joined the Helenic Americam Educational Foundation (HAEF) in 2004 coaching the HAEF Elementary and Middle School swimming team and teaching swimming in the after school program. She joined the ACS Athens Swimming Academy in 2013.
Mr. Tsichlas was born and raised in Athens, Greece.
He earned a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education & Sports Science from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, specializing in Swimming. He is also a certified lifeguard, and an emergency responder (CPR/First Aid for adult/child/infant).
Over the past years Mr. Tsichlas has worked as a swimming coach in swimming clubs, in after school activities (swimming), and in the ACS Athens swimming academy. He is a member of the Coaches Association of Swimming, Water Polo, and Diving, as well as a licensed professional coach of swimming (Level A), as administered by the General Secretariat of Sports. He has attended several seminars organized by the National Federation of Swimming, and the swimming coaches association.
This year Mr. Tsichlas is coaching the ACS Athens Middle School Swimming team.
Mr. Schoenefeld was born in Dusseldorf / Germany. He attended the DTB/VDT tennis trainer education for four years and has received three of the highest Tennis training diplomas with different specializations during this time, which are all recognized by the ITF.
His specializations reach from "mini tennis" over "main stream club tennis" up to "training and Micro, Meso, Makro training/ tournament planning" and the training of sport psychological components of and for professional tennis players. He has worked as an assistant tennis instructor at Universities tennis teams and as Head coach at Dusseldorf Tennis academy. He worked as the tennis department manager of a Greek sports company, providing tennis training and sport activities in various athletic facilities around Athens.
In addition, he has attended various seminars as "tennis specific conditioning", "Importance of general and tennis specific coordination in Tennis", "Biomechanical Importance and developments in tennis", "Sport psychological aspects and their importance in professional Tennis"; also, he has completed an emergency first response course that follows current guidelines for emergency patient care, and many more.
He has been at ACS Athens for the past 12 years, and manages the ACS Athens Tennis Academy as its supervisor and Head coach. In addition, he is the head coach of the ACS Athens High School tennis team.
Ms. Markesini was born and raised in Athens, Greece. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Sport and Leisure Management from the East Tennessee State University. She was a professional tennis player in the age of 15-16 and she also played in the tennis team of her school while she was studying in the US.
She worked as a tennis coach in Greece and the US and joined ACS Athens in 2018 as a part of the tennis coaching team.
Mr. Ioannis Vaxevanakis was born in Thessaloniki and grew up in Athens Greece. He studied Sport Science with specialization in Tennis (Department of Physical Education and Sport Science (2005). After graduating he attended a seminar in the field of Business on Sports from the University of Scotland.
From 1993 till to date he participates in national union and Panhellenic tournaments. His professional tennis coaching career begins 2006 as an assistant coach in tennis club of Vrilissia for children and adult. He has been teaching Tennis since 2006 in several tennis clubs in Athens and as of September 2017 has joined the ACS Athens Tennis Academy coaching team.
Mr. Bill Sgouros was born in Athens. He studied Sport Science with specialization in Tennis (Department of Physical Education and Sport Science- Democritus University of Thrace).
He earned a MSc degree in Applied Molecular Physiology (Medicine School of Athens National and Kapodistrian University of Athens) and specialized in Therapeutic Exercise.
He has received a tennis referee diploma from the Hellenic Tennis Federation (Ε.Φ.Ο.Α.).
He has attended several seminars in Fitness, Functional Training and Medical Rehabilitation.
He has been teaching Tennis since 2015 in Tennis Stadium of Athens (O.A.K.A.) and as of September 2018 he has joined the ACS Athens Tennis Academy coaching team.
