Learning Commons Enhancement Programs
The Learning Commons Enhancement Programs, LCEP, have expanded their role to meet the needs of all students. The programs support students, parents and teachers.
With expanding initiatives, the programs aim to pioneer in creating effective and accessible holistic teaching and learning.
The services and initiatives include:
Learning Commons after school learning enhancement program for ACS Athens students
The Gateway program for non-ACS Athens students
The Scholars Academy Program
Creation and implementation of future innovative programs
The Learning Commons Enhancement Program secures a positive and productive school experience for students of all ages.
The Program mainly takes place in the Sabbagh Library of the Learning Commons.
From Monday to Thursday, 3:50pm-5:30pm, during the academic year, or for approximately two weeks after the academic year is complete.

The LCEP is open to support students of all ages, from Elementary to Academy.
The following services are offered; instructors working with students at a maximum ratio of 1:4:
- Homework Support
- Study skills and organizational techniques
After reviewing the Program available via the Handbook, parents may contact Ms. Marietta Garbis at firstname.lastname@example.org to request further information, or to directly request their students be considered for enrollment. Admissibility in the Program can be also required and/or recommended through the CST based on the student's performance.
