During their recent educational journey to the United States, 14 ACS Athens students had the unique opportunity to meet Mr. Ted Varias, an acclaimed IT executive with over 34 years of experience driving strategy, operations, and innovation across sectors.

As CEO of the Mason Harriman Group, Mr. Varias has overseen multi-billion-dollar IT transformations and mentored hundreds of leaders in the public and private sectors, including work with Homeland Security, the Department of Justice, and Fortune 100 companies such as BASF and AIG.

Students were inspired by his insights into leadership, resilience, and the evolving role of technology in society. The highlight of the visit was a dynamic ‘Shark Tank’-style session where students presented their own ideas, receiving thoughtful feedback and encouragement.
