Early Childhood

  • 4 & 5 years old - Children entering Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten in September

Please note that to attend the ACS Athens Summer Camp, children need to be fully-potty trained.

The ACS Athens Early Childhood Program offers a creative and interactive Summer Camp! It is focused on developmentally appropriate ways to engage children in various educational, fun, and imaginative activities.

The Early Childhood Education classroom follows a weekly thematic curriculum, and all the activities are related to the theme of the week.

English is the language of instruction, and the daily schedule includes listening to and reading stories, hands-on learning, games to build social skills, authentic and fun ABC activities to help strengthen pencil grasp, and artwork.
Children will be exposed to a strong, balanced learning program promoting and supporting healthy lifestyle habits through music, movement, singing, dancing, swimming, and age-appropriate group games. In addition, a great deal of learning occurs through "free exploration," which is essentially classroom and outdoor play.
