Program Instructors
- Instructors are ACS Athens faculty/staff members.
- LEP instructors communicate with the learner’s teacher as the need arises for more target support and to ensure learning needs are met.
- Instructors do not complete homework for learners but rather assist and guide them in the right direction. Any incomplete assignments will be finished at home.
- Learners are assisted in understanding instructions and concepts. If instructions are not understood, instructors repeat them by breaking them down into steps.
- Instructors identify and work on areas of weaknesses.
- Instructors aim to improve learners’ time management by giving them one task to complete at a time and introducing the next task when learners have successfully completed the previous task.
- Instructors encourage learners to look at all available resources on Moodle, urging them to become self-reliant inquirers who use digital tools responsibly.
