What a beautiful journey music can be!
On December 19th, our Middle School and Academy students took us on a musical adventure during this year’s Winter Concerts. The day featured two inspiring performances — the morning dedicated to our Middle School students and the afternoon to our Academy performers. Every student enrolled in music, whether as a compulsory subject in Grade 7 or as an elective in Middle School and High School, participated with dedication and enthusiasm.
Students selected their own songs, working diligently to bring them to life. Performers ranged from complete beginners to those with years of experience, and the musical styles reflected this diversity—from classical and original student compositions to pop, rock, and heavy metal. Through hours of practice, band members learned the value of teamwork, mutual support, and finding a common rhythm. This journey was about more than music — it was about building confidence, celebrating creativity, and achieving shared goals.
Behind the scenes, a dedicated team worked tirelessly to make the event a success. A special thank you to Ms. Peggy Apostolou, our Middle School and Academy Music Teacher, for her guidance and inspiration, as well as to the ACS Athens Theater Crew and Media Studio team for their invaluable support in bringing this celebration to life.
Congratulations to all our incredible students for their hard work and inspiring performances. Your music and teamwork brought us together, reminding us of the power of collaboration and creativity.
Happy Holidays from all of us at ACS Athens!
