ACS Athens was delighted to host the Varsity Boys Soccer and Varsity Girls Volleyball tournaments, bringing a day filled with energy, enthusiasm, and great sporting moments to our campus!

Our soccer team faced strong competition throughout the day, rising to the challenge in every match. During the round-robin stage, the boys secured second place in their pool, narrowly losing to St. Catherine’s (1–2). However, the two teams had another opportunity to meet in the tournament final, setting the stage for an exciting rematch!

The final was a thrilling contest, with both teams fighting hard until the final whistle. After a 2–2 draw, the tournament winner was decided by a penalty shootout. Congratulations to St. Catherine’s on their tournament victory and to our ACS Athens boys for an excellent second-place finish and a determined performance!

Meanwhile, in the neighboring gymnasium, our Girls Varsity Volleyball team took part in a round-robin tournament against ISA, Campion, St. Catherine’s, and St. Lawrence. The matches were full of excitement and provided valuable playing opportunities for all our athletes as they continue preparing for the upcoming ISAA tournament.

We are proud to congratulate our girls on finishing in first place! Congratulations also to St. Lawrence on their second-place finish and to all the participating teams for contributing to a wonderful day of competition.

A big well done to all the athletes and coaches! Thank you for your hard work and dedication.
