Katerina Apostolaki is an instructional designer and educator with more than a decade of experience spanning K–12 education, teacher training, and international learning communities. She specializes in designing clear, purposeful learning experiences that reduce barriers and foster deeper engagement for both students and educators.
Her portfolio includes the development of blended learning programs for diverse audiences, the management of instructional operations in school-wide initiatives, and the coordination of learning design for international education conferences. With professional experience as an educator, designer, and coordinator, Katerina consistently brings a focus on clarity, accessibility, and meaningful connection to every project she undertakes.
A strong advocate for digital innovation in education, she has collaborated with remote and hybrid teams to implement forward-thinking approaches to learning design in K–12 contexts. Her work reflects a commitment to practical solutions that meet learners where they are, while opening pathways to new opportunities and global perspectives.
Katerina currently serves as Media Coordinator for IATEFL BESIG (Business English Special Interest Group), where she leads initiatives that strengthen professional exchange and knowledge sharing across the global English language teaching community. She is also an active member of the European Digital Education Hub, contributing to conversations that shape the future of digital learning in Europe and beyond.
Based in Greece, Katerina continues to build bridges across cultures and disciplines, supporting educators and organizations in creating learning experiences that are not only effective, but also inclusive, engaging, and enduring.
