Tottas, Frances, Admissions Coordinator
Frances Tottas is the Admissions Coordinator at the American Community Schools of Athens (ACS Athens) in Greece. During her tenure, she has managed the school's enrollment workflow from inquiry through admission and registration, while also contributing to retention efforts during a period of continuous, sustainable growth. Having held several administrative positions within the school, she has developed a deep understanding of its operations and culture. She has been a member of the ACS Athens staff since 1987.
In addition to her responsibilities at ACS Athens, Ms. Tottas served for three years as a member of the Admissions Special Interest Group (SIG) of the European Council of International Schools (ECIS). In this role, she contributed to the ongoing dialogue on best practices and emerging trends in international school admissions. She also presented and participated as a panelist at the ECIS Inclusive Education Conference, where the SIG's presentation, “Inclusive Admissions from Inquiry to Matriculation: An Interactive Deep Dive,” explored inclusive admissions throughout the enrollment journey.
Prior to joining ACS Athens, Ms. Tottas gained experience in the shipping industry and later spent three years with Sony Electronics, where she managed the Import Department in Greece. She also has experience coordinating trade shows and exhibitions locally and internationally.
Frances Tottas is an ACS Athens alumna (Class of 1982) and the parent of an alumnus, offering her a valuable perspective on the school community and its needs.
