Kougioumzoglou, Manos, K-12 Clinical Psychologist

Manos Kougioumzoglou is a licensed Clinical Psychologist with extensive clinical and academic experience. He holds three Bachelor’s and three Master’s degrees: a BA in Philosophy, Pedagogy, and Psychology from the University of Ioannina, a BSc in Psychology from the University of Cyprus, and a BA in Sociology (specialization in Criminology) from Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences.
He completed a Master of Arts (MA, Summa Cum Laude) at the University of Ioannina and an MSc in Palliative and Supportive Care of Chronically Ill Patients at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, both supported by full scholarships. In addition, he earned an MSc in Clinical Mental Health from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Medical School), specializing in Borderline Personality Disorders.
Mr. Kougioumzoglou has an active research and publication record in scientific journals and conferences. Clinically, he has extensive experience in therapy and rehabilitation for both developmental and psychiatric disorders, having worked in public and private clinical settings.
He has held leadership positions, including Head of the Department of Special Vocational Training and Education at Theotokos Foundation, and was responsible for the Psychological and Diagnostic Services at the Hellenic Red Cross. In parallel, he worked as a Consultant at the Palliative Care Unit "Jenny Karezi" (Areteion Hospital). He has also taught at the Hellenic Coast Guard Academy and delivered master’s-level courses on Clinical Psychometry at ICPS.
Currently, at ACS Athens, he supports a holistic approach to student health and well-being, helping students to develop resilience, emotional regulation, and a strong sense of self.
