Athanatou, Eleni, Assistant Director, IB & AP Programs

Ms. Athanatou earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Business Administration from Texas A&M International University, USA, graduating with Honors. She went on to complete two Master of Business Administration degrees in International Trade and Management at the same university. Most recently, she received a Certificate in School Management and Leadership (CSML) from Harvard University.

She has undertaken professional development with the International Baccalaureate Organization, including an online workshop in Counseling for the IB Diploma and a face-to-face Extended Essay workshop. This year, she will serve as an Extended Essay Supervisor in Business Management. After seven years as a CAS Adviser, she was appointed CAS Coordinator in 2024, where she now oversees the implementation and management of the CAS Programme.

In addition to her IB responsibilities, she has advised the 1.50 Club for six years and initiated the Youth-to-Youth Club in 2024, continuing to serve as its advisor. Since 2017, she has also been a dedicated supporting member of the Youth-to-Youth Programs.

Born and raised in Athens, Greece, she resides in Kropia, Attiki, where she was elected to the Municipality Council. There, she has served as a member of the Economic Commission and as Chair of the Committee of Tax Revenue.
