Dialyna, Niki, Faculty, Elementary School Library Media Literacy Specialist

Ms. Niki Dialyna is a dedicated educator with over a decade of teaching and academic support experience. She holds a B.A. in English Literature with Linguistics from Deree – The American College of Greece and has completed additional coursework in Political Science and Public Administration at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

Throughout her career, Ms. Dialyna has served as a Director of Studies and ESL Teacher, where she designed preschool education programs, developed engaging lessons, and provided cross-curricular academic support. She also fostered strong connections with students and families, extending her commitment to education through volunteer work with learners from diverse backgrounds.

Ms. Dialyna joined the ACS Athens in 2024, contributing across multiple roles: Substitute Elementary Teacher (Pre-JK – Grade 5), Optimal Learning Program Aide, EFL Middle School Aide, and Summer Camp Art Teacher. In these positions, she applied differentiated learning strategies, supported students both in and out of the classroom, and created meaningful learning opportunities tailored to individual needs.  

Her dedication to professional growth is reflected in her continuous education, including specialized training in Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) at Trinity College Dublin, special education and counseling, preschool experiential learning, and the integration of AI tools in the foreign language classroom. These programs have strengthened her expertise in building innovative, inclusive, and future-ready learning environments.  

In addition to her classroom work, Ms. Dialyna has been an active modern theatre, ballet, and flamenco dance teacher since 2008, bringing a unique artistic perspective to her teaching. This creative background enhances her lessons with energy, imagination, and a dynamic approach to student engagement.  

Ms. Dialyna believes that every student deserves to feel supported, inspired, and empowered to achieve their potential. In her new role as the Elementary School Library Media Literacy Specialist, she looks forward to nurturing a lifelong love of reading, guiding students in navigating information with confidence and responsibility, and equipping them with the skills to think critically and creatively in a rapidly changing world.
