Mnende, Rehema Abdalla Ally, Academy Advisory 9 & 10, Counseling Specialist

Ms. Rehema Mnende is a Tanzanian citizen, currently residing in Greece since 2023. She completed her Postgraduate Certificate in Child Development and Psychopathology from the  University of Reading, and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with Clinical Psychology at the  University of Kent, in the United Kingdom. Her background in psychology has been instrumental in creating supportive learning environments, as well as fostering emotional intelligence and well-being among students. 

Within the domain of education, Rehema has worked in leadership roles to apply progressive education pedagogies, champion education reform, and implement social-emotional learning (SEL), to promote inclusive and nurturing learning environments. As founder of a wellness organisation and lead developer of several interventions and evidence-based programs in Tanzania, Ms. Mnende actively promoted mental health, stakeholder collaboration, as well as sustainable and community-centred initiatives.

Ms. Mnende is strongly passionate about healthy child development and is committed to building genuine pathways to holistic health, where young learners can truly be well and achieve their truest potential.
