Ms. Evangelia Theofilou earned her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2016) and her Master’s degree in Environmental Health and Toxicology from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (2018), graduating with the highest distinction in her class.

She has worked as analytical researcher at the National Center for Scientific Research “Demokritos” in Greece and at the University of Birmingham in the UK, focusing on toxicological topics such as the carcinogenic impact of aflatoxins in peanuts and the skin toxicity of anticancer therapies.

Ms. Theofilou is a holder of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS-UK) and is fluent in Greek, English, and French. She has a passion for traveling and dreams of exploring every corner of the world.

Since 2019, she has been teaching at ACS Athens, where she serves as a Science and Technology teacher and supports students in Chemistry and Biology through the Math/Science Studio.

In the current academic year, she is teaching Science 8 and Computers 6 and 8 in Middle School.
