Kollileka, Sofia, Middle School Aide

Kollileka Sofia is an ACS Athens Graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Contemporary and Dance Studies. She is a professional Dance Teacher and Choreographer. Sofia was born and raised in Athens, Greece.

Ms Kollileka graduated from the Professional Dance School Morianova Trasta. Sofia has IB Diplomas in English, Spanish, and Greek studies. Furthermore, Sofia lived her entire life in Greece except for three years, where she studied at Obradoiro School of La Coruna during her Secondary School Years. In addition, she attended the Conservatory Music School Learning Piano, Musical Theory, and Singing and obtained many diplomas.

Ms. Kollileka has more than ten years of experience working at ACS Athens during ACS Athens Summer Camp. At the summer camp, she worked as a Dance Instructor, where she taught dance, produced theatrical performances, and helped engage students of all ages in those performances. Sofia felt a sense of achievement convincing and helping students, especially little children, to perform on stage in a very short amount of time, during summer camp (3-4 weeks). Sofia helps students become good citizens, supports them, and gains their trust by providing them with positive feedback, thus strengthening their ability to perform on stage. Ms Kollileka has also assisted in all Physical Educational fields, supporting teachers in various sports activities, including swimming.

Sofia has several years of experience as an English teacher aide in Schools. She has also taught music and kinesiology, with rhythmical exercises, dance, P.E, activity games, and the English language to Pre-School Children (ages 2-5). Additionally, she worked as a shadow teacher in schools, helping children with learning difficulties.

Ms. Kollileka Is fluent in English, Spanish, and Greek languages. Sofia loves playing the piano, singing songs, swimming, and playing soccer. As a student, she has participated in both swimming and soccer teams by going to ISST tournaments, winning many medals for her school. She is a very artistic person, and her passion is to convince students to do what they’ve always dreamed of!
