Ms. Eva Moschou holds a Bachelor’s degree in German and Greek Language and Philology from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and an MSc in Educational Sciences from the Hellenic Open University. During her undergraduate studies, she was awarded an Erasmus scholarship and continued her studies at the University of Leipzig, Germany. Her commitment to lifelong learning has led her to pursue continuous professional development in foreign language teaching, special education, and the integration of technology into education.
Her professional journey has extended beyond the classroom. Early in her career, Ms. Moschou worked in tourism with German- and English-speaking groups, as well as in television and film production, translation, and cultural events. Working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds ultimately reinforced her conscious choice to devote herself to education and language teaching.
With more than 25 years of experience, Ms. Moschou has taught German to children, adolescents, and adults, from beginner to advanced levels. She has worked in both private and public education, coordinated German language programs, prepared students for language certification and the Greek Panhellenic examinations, and participated in educational projects and student trips to German-speaking countries. She is also a certified ÖSD examiner for levels A1–C1.
Ms. Moschou joined ACS Athens in October 2025 as a German Language faculty member in the Academy, where she teaches German language courses and IB German B across the Diploma Programme levels.
Her teaching philosophy is rooted in trust, respect, and genuine connection with students. She believes that learning a foreign language goes far beyond acquiring linguistic knowledge: it builds bridges between cultures, broadens perspectives, and encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and learner autonomy. She strives to create an engaging and supportive environment where students develop their own voice, communicate with confidence, and grow as independent, open-minded, and responsible citizens of the world.
