Life, Leisure and Sports in Greece

for students entering grades 7-11

This course is mostly for non-native speakers or Greek students who do not choose the language A program. 

Don’t miss the opportunity to experience music, arts, sports, and leisure all of which are presented in an engaging and interesting way through interactive activities in and out of class. A variety of texts and videos are used to promote Greek in different ways. Students will also be exposed to Greek dancing and traditions from all over Greece. Theater, arts and culture are introduced at every opportunity. Themes such as family, racism, civilization, technology, leisure, sports, health and every day’s life are discussed. Don’t miss this great chance! 

*This course fulfills 0.5 ACS Athens graduation requirement as an elective.

When: Monday to Friday / Hours: TBD (9 am - 12 noon and/or 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm)

Cost: 400 euros

Minimum enrollment: 5 students. Maximum enrollment: 15 students.
