for students entering grades 6-12

Unfolding the craft of writing supernatural  tales

Step into a journey through the dark shadows of Gothic literature. Through close readings of classics, you will unravel threads of narrative techniques and themes of isolation, madness, and the supernatural. Class discussions will provide a deeper understanding of Gothic literature and unravel conventions, symbolism, and tropes, preparing you to craft your own haunting tales! 

Throughout the course you will receive feedback from peers and the instructor, navigating your own writing craft through the macabre realms of Gothic literature.

When: Monday to Friday / Hours: 9:00-12:00 pm or 12:30-3:30 pm  (to be announced) / June 17-28

Cost: 400 euros

Minimum enrollment: 5 students. Maximum enrollment: 15 students.

* Middle School Students: currently enrolled 8th grade students are eligible for a High School elective credit for this course.
