The 9th grade Student Council aims to increase leadership level amongst students and guide 9th graders throughout the year.

The 10th Grade Student Council aims in preparing students to be responsible, ready, and respectful in taking care of their peers' needs and wants.

The 11th Grade Student Council will be writing proposals, organizing goals, planning activities, and acting as leaders throughout the school year, working together towards a common goal.

The Senior Class Student Council aims in encouraging and engaging students to get involved in meaningful experiences, to ensure the greatest participation by students, to teach the values of working in a democracy, and to voice their opinion.

IB Student Council aims to provide guidance and suppport for all IB students and organizes a student-to-student forum for Seniors to discuss with Juniors what year 2 of the IBDP entails, how they could best avoid pitfalls and meet deadlines.

The student-led Bottle Caps Club aims in collecting bottle caps for people who have gotten into accidents and are in need of wheelchairs. The bottle caps that will be collected will be given to this cause.

The Dance Club teaches students the basic steps for Latin and American style dancing and how to implement these steps into a choreography.

This Forensics club prepares students for the annual Forensics tournament that will take place in Athens this year.

This Forensics club guides students through research, informed conversation and teaches students the art of discussion. Students will also be trained in the most valuable group discussion skill: reaching solutions to real world problems.

The High School Band focuses on detailed performances of specific music genres, usually Jazz and Rock.

IB Visual Arts 1 & 2 students exchange ideas, practice their techniques and sometimes go to Art Events together. The learning objectives better the quality of their studio work and become more knowledgeable on the art scene.

This Forensics club coaches students to write original speeches on very personal/important topics, such as gender roles, modern cynicism, and family.

This club will be run by students as a way to make ACS a more inclusive and accepting community. The awareness campaigns will include making videos, interviews and posters as well maintain a direct communication between the club and the student body to see in which ways that we as a community can make a change.

The TED-Ed Club aims in engaging students in a well-rounded process of building public speaking and presentation skills while providing opportunities to ask questions, research, share ideas, and create a formal culminating TED-Ed event to which parents, classmates, and community will be invited.

Greek students participate in the annual UNESCO Symposium at the end of February, hosted by one of the Associated Schools on a rotating basis. Global and social issues (defined by UNESCO) are approached in group discussions where a resolution is presented in the General Assembly of the Symposium. Through this process, students are familiarized with the institutions of democracy while acquiring global and social awareness.

Wall Climbing is a fun and a physically challenging activity. We are very lucky to have a great indoor facility in our school and it will be nice the MS students to use it more often (besides the 3-4 lessons they are having during the year in PE). This activity is designed to introduce students into various wall climbing skills.
