Mohamedali, Jasmina, Shadow Teacher, LEP Instructor

Ms. Jasmina Mohamedali holds a Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) in Psychology from New York College and an M.A in Clinical- Counseling Psychology from LaSalle University in Philadelphia. She has worked in the PG Child Hospital Aglaia Kyriakou Oncology Department, Athens (Greece) as a Counselor supporting both children and parents.

Ms. Mohamedali has been working at ACS Athens since 2014 as a Shadow Teacher in the Middle School and Academy. She has also taught in the Learning Enhancement Programs at ACS Athens in assisting in the After School Homework Support Program. She has been working with students who have learning differences and is knowledgeable in addressing Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder, Asperger’s and other learning differences. She is experienced in implementing different strategies by selecting different educational practices in connection to academic instruction and behavioral interventions in meeting the students needs. Currently, she is working as a Shadow Teacher in Middle School and providing educational services.

Ms. Mohamedali has a positive incentive approach for finding alternative interventions, strategies and tools that can help students with learning differences achieve their full potential academically, socially and behaviorally.
