Mathioudaki, Konstantina, Middle School/Academy OLP Aide

Konstantina Mathioudaki is currently a PhD Candidate at the University of Ioannina, where she focuses her research on critical literacy and digital education. Her academic background reflects an interdisciplinary approach, including an MEd in Special Education from the Hellenic Open University, an MEd in TESOL from the Paris University of International Education, an MSc in Applied Linguistics, a BA in Spanish Language and Civilization, and a BEd in TESOL. To complement her degrees, she is also pursuing certifications in ADHD Coaching, Neurodiversity Coaching, Neuroscience Coaching, and Positive Psychology Coaching, equipping her with evidence-based strategies to support cognitive, emotional, and executive function needs.
She works at ACS Athens as an Optimal Learning Program (OLP) Aide, supporting students with diverse learning profiles through the implementation of Individualized Learning Plans (ILPs), reinforcing executive functioning and study skills, and collaborating with teachers to promote inclusive learning environments. Alongside her school-based role, she also teaches in higher education as a Lecturer, delivering courses in TESOL, language education, and inclusive practices.
An active researcher, writer, and presenter, Konstantina has shared her work at national and international conferences. Her recent talk, “What if your students helped design the test?”, highlighted flipped assessment practices that enhance student voice and motivation. She has published in the Resmicte Cultural Studies Journal and the International Journal of Educational Innovation and Research, and contributed to the 5th Panhellenic Conference Proceedings. Her publications address inclusive practices, artificial intelligence in education, and the role of art and games in learning.
Through her dual roles in school-based support and academia, Konstantina is committed to advancing inclusive education, amplifying student agency, and integrating innovative tools and gamification. She believes inclusion is not only about removing barriers but about transforming education into an equitable and empowering process for all learners.
