Widener University and ACS Athens are pleased to announce a partnership that includes two new international graduate programs.

Widener University will offer its doctoral and master's degree programs in K-12 Educational Leadership, with a focus on International Schools Leadership. The master’s and doctoral level programs are designed for people who want to be leaders in international K-12 schools. They may already be teachers or mid-level school administrators, either in public or private U.S. schools, or at institutions around the world.

Low-Residency EdD with a Focus on International Schools Leadership

Earn your EdD in K-12 Educational Leadership with a focus on International Schools Leadership through the Widener University – ACS Athens partnership. You can finish your degree in as few as three years while working full-time.

Build your professional reputation and skills while earning your degree at your own pace through a mix of online and on-campus coursework that balances your professional and personal lifestyle with your career goals.

In year one, you will travel to Athens, Greece for a 3-week summer residency. In year two, you will travel to the United States for a 3-week summer residency that includes educational experiences in Philadelphia, New York, and Washington, D.C. During the school year, you will complete your coursework online.

Interested in bringing your children and family to your residency in Athens? A discounted summer camp program will enable them to experience one of the world’s most historic cities while you work toward your doctorate.

Low-Residency MEd with a Focus on International Schools Leadership

Through the Widener University – ACS Athens partnership, you can earn an MEd in K-12 Educational Leadership with a focus on International Schools Leadership.

This K–12 educational leadership Master of Education program puts you on the fast track to a career in educational administration and leadership. It offers a flexible, part-time program ideal for working professionals. Build your professional reputation and skills while earning your degree at your own pace through a mix of online and on-campus coursework that balances your professional and personal lifestyle with your educational goals.

In year one, you will travel to Athens for a 3-week summer residency. In year two, you will travel to the United States for a 3-week summer residency that includes educational experiences in Philadelphia, New York, and Washington, D.C.
