International Mathematics Competition Kangaroo
The annual international Mathematics competition Kangaroo is the largest educational and most fun competition in the world with over 6.5 million students participating from 70 different countries. Greece joined the competition in 2007. Any student from 2nd grade up to 12th grade can participate[1].
There are 6 levels for the competition based on each participant’s grade level:

Objectives
The competition aims to promote mathematics as a subject approachable to anyone.
It promotes creativity, logical thinking and challenges students to approach questions from a different perspective.
Students will develop their problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
A celebration of Math learning
Every participating student will get a small token of appreciation for their participation regardless of their performance, and a certificate of participation.
One out of six participants will also receive a symbolic award according to own performance.
