Thursday, October 27th, was full of Halloween festivities at the ACS Athens campus! It was a great day that included the Costume Parade in the morning, the Pumpkin Patch all day, and the Halloween Carnival in the evening. That’s a lot of “Trick or Treat” action from 9 am to 9 pm!

It has been a while since we have had the evening Halloween carnival, and it was great to see so many young children having fun!   Twenty-two booths (7 sports teams and 15 student clubs) were set up in the gym; an event organized by our Middle School and Academy students for the younger students!

The Haunted House was a grand production and a great success - our athletes did an amazing job in creating a spooky environment for the young children and their parents too!

We had more than 370 young children playing the games,  and even more adults on campus. Coaches, club supervisors, faculty & staff, administration, and parents came to experience the one-of-a-kind ACS Athens Halloween spirit.

The Pumpkin Patch at the entrance of the campus was a show-stopper and a great reason for many to stop and look at all the creatively carved pumpkins amongst the costume-clad children running around. A big thank you to the PTO volunteers who provided great Halloween decorations and were very helpful in many other areas of the carnival.

Once again, the entire ACS Athens community came together for an unforgettable day!
