"We’re finding our way, as parents in the new Covid world. When school started this September, we were so apprehensive about how things would unfold; how would kids wear masks all day? How long would the school stay open?
How would our lives be different? Parents and grandparents are definitely more isolated now – no more chatting and calling out to friends in the mornings – no meeting at the school gates for any updates, school news, and playdate organization.
But we are managing; we are finding a new path for socializing, for our kids and us.
And when kids are homesick or quarantined, we seamlessly move to online schooling.
That is something that we know well – how to handle homeschooling, not easy but a known quantity for us ACS Athens Parents, and that is something we are very thankful for.
Resilience is our motto – wear a mask, be safe, and carry on for our kids for our families and us."
