Sessions for all groups run from: 4:00 - 5:00 pm

Minimum and Maximum number of participants allowable in each group:

Activities Fees & Deadlines

TThere is a predetermined cost per activity to help pay for the instructor's time and materials; please see the activities sections below. Please note that the cost of your child participating in the various Mathematics competitions is NOT covered in the activity fees.

Activities will be canceled if there are not enough students signed up. The Special Projects Coordinator will contact you if this is the case.

Payment must be made at least two days before the first scheduled session. Using the School Bank information. Please include the child’s name.

*Payment must be made prior to the onset of the activity OR within one week following the submission of the form (if the activity has already started and space is available).

Cancellation Policy

Should a student withdraw from the program, refund of the fees is as follows:

Math Circles | Grade 2 - 3 Section

Thursdays: 4 - 5 pm
Cost: €230 (14 sessions)
 
Location: Room G1 (Grade 2) &G2 (Grade 3) - Ground Floor ES Cafeteria
Minimum enrollment: 6 students
Maximum enrollment: 10 students

The program aims to enable students’ critical thinking and problem-solving skills and inspire students to reach their mathematical potential. Through a balance of guided practice and challenge problem solving activities, the program aims to engage students in activities that will sharpen their creativity and teamwork skills. Introduction to math competition themes and skills based on MOEMS and Kangaroo International Mathematics Competition.

  • February 1, 8, 15, 22, 29
  • March 7, 14, 21, 28
  • April 4, 11, 18
  • May 9, 16

Math Circles | Grade 4 - 5 Section

Mondays: 4 - 5 pm
Cost: €215 (13 sessions)

The program aims to enable students’ critical thinking and problem-solving skills and inspire students to reach their mathematical potential. Through a balance of guided practice and challenge problem solving activities, the program aims to engage students in activities that will sharpen their creativity and teamwork skills. The program curriculum targets themes in Mathematics common to different Mathematics competitions such as the Mathematics Olympiads for Middle School and Elementary Students (MOEMS Division M), the International Mathematics Kangaroo Competition, the American Mathematical Competition 8, and  MathCounts.

The program aims to enable students’ critical thinking and problem-solving skills and inspire students to reach their mathematical potential. Through a balance of guided practice and challenge problem solving activities, the program aims to engage students in activities that will sharpen their creativity and teamwork skills. Location: Room 101- Ground Floor Academy Building
Minimum enrollment: 10 students
Maximum enrollment: 15 students
 
The program aims to deepen students’ critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Students will be engaged in intensive practice and  activities that will sharpen their creativity and teamwork skills. Emphasis is placed on math competition themes, practice, skill development for reaching maximum potential in the AMC 10/12 Competition Series. Students will be offered additional practice material for work at home in preparation for each session.
