Bessa, Mariza, Elementary School Math Studio Coordinator

Ms. Mariza Bessa holds a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from the National Kapodistrian University of Athens. Her academic journey continued at the Master's level within the School of Applied Mathematical and Physical Sciences of the National Technical University of Athens. During her studies, she had the chance to conduct her thesis research at the National Centre for Scientific Research "Demokritos" in Athens, Greece.

With a diverse teaching background, Ms. Bessa has engaged with students across various grade levels and educational institutions. While her primary focus had been on teaching Science to Middle and High School students, she embraced the exciting challenge of working with younger children. Last year, she joined ACS Athens as an on-call substitute teacher. In the present year, she eagerly transitions into her new role as the Math Studio Coordinator in the Elementary School.

Ms. Bessa's dedication to education goes far beyond the classroom, as demonstrated through collaborative initiatives. She has co-authored three Middle School physics books, designed to complement the core Greek curriculum and enhance students' learning experiences. Her active participation in workshops and seminars underscores her passion for innovative teaching approaches and continuous growth.
