Argyropoulos, Alethea, Elementary OLP Specialist

Alethea Argyropoulos is a Learning Strategist dedicated to supporting diverse learners through evidence-based practices, personalized approaches, and collaborative instructional design. She holds a Master’s in Educational Leadership and Policy, a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Studies, and a Diploma in Early Childhood Education from her studies in Toronto, Canada. She also holds a Level 5 Diploma in TEFL teaching.

Grounded in a whole-child approach, Ms. Argyropoulos believes that strong teaching and learning come from recognizing and nurturing every aspect of a student’s development. Her professional focus is centered in Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and inclusive education, instructional design, and co-teaching and collaborative planning, and data-driven practice.

She develops individualized learning plans and support programs that promote continuity in student growth and strengthen collaboration among teachers and families. Ms. Argyropoulos has worked extensively with students in grades K-6, teaching academic content skills and coaching in executive functioning, study strategies, and self-advocacy within classrooms and one-on-one. She places strong emphasis on building students’ metacognitive skills, helping them reflect on their learning process, develop self-awareness and grow as independent, confident problem-solvers.

Her professional development includes training through multiple professional organizations that focus on creative interventions, UDL, crisis intervention, evidence-based literacy intervention, executive functioning and peer mentoring.

Ms. Argyropoulos is excited to be a part of the ACS Athens Elementary School community in the OLP Department as an OLP Specialist, where she looks forward to supporting student growth, fostering inclusive learning environments, and collaborating to ensure every child thrives.
