Dr. Vassiliki Torega possesses a B.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of Patras. She further holds an M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from the National Technical University of Athens, as well as a PhD in Applied Mathematics from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom.
During her PhD studies, she taught several undergraduate courses in Mathematics at the University of Manchester and she was awarded with the AFHEA qualification for professionalism in learning and teaching in higher education. She also worked in a collaborative effort organised by universities across the United Kingdom that aims to prepare high school students for university admission tests.
This academic year, Dr. Torega will be teaching Algebra 2 and Trigonometry Regular and Honors, as well as AP Precalculus. In the past she taught Geometry with Algebraic Topics, Algebra 2 and Trigonometry, Advanced Algebraic Methods and AP Precalculus. In addition to her classroom responsibilities Dr. Torega also took on the role of Mathematics Competition Coach for grade 2 students.
