Mathematical Explorations

for students entering grades 6-8

A fast and fun introduction to the foundational skills needed to excel in Mathematics. Students are going to broaden their horizons and explore new areas of academia that combine Mathematics with History, from the ancient numerical systems, Pythagoras and Euclidean Geometry to contemporary applications in Nature, Music, Art and Coding.  Students engage in indoor and outdoor activities, hands-on projects, exciting games, brainteaser puzzles and more, extracurricular activities on inspiring topics, such as drawing fractals and tessellations, breaking codes, analyzing conic sections and their real life applications, even constructing a 3-D city model! 

Through collaborative work and presentations, students will boost their confidence, improve their visual thinking and problem-solving skills, experiencing the beauty and power of Mathematics.

Cost: 400 euros

Minimum enrollment: 5 students. Maximum enrollment: 15 students.
