ACS Athens participated in the first ever EDUtech Europe Conference, which took place in Amsterdam on October 5-6, 2022. John Papadakis, Director of Technology at ACS Athens, was a speaker at a Panel discussion with the topic: Boosting student recruitment through informed decision-making - Using data to support and inform your strategy - Technology for automation for better customer experience - Developing a strong inbound strategy.
EDUtech Europe is a dedicated festival for education leaders across the region to share their successes, strategies and plans on the future of education, which continues to be shaped by the ongoing acceleration of digitalisation. Speakers addressed the whole ecosystem, from leadership in pedagogy, IT, planning, strategy, and more. The Conference welcomed over 3,000 attendees, 250 speakers, 220 edtech providers and 150 startups over the two event days.
According to John Papadakis, "It's been quite an informative and insightful event with very interesting ideas to follow up on, new or updated perspectives on everything edutech. EduTech may be a powerful player in promoting and developing a strong enrollment and retention strategy, but must be combined with a powerful commitment to #integrity towards the true values of international education."
"A data-driven, technology-enabled, student-centered approach towards education is what our world currently needs. It's after all the touchstone for resilience and progress," said Mr. Papadakis.
