This summer, ACS Athens students are embracing a unique opportunity to learn, grow, and explore at Widener University in Pennsylvania.

Eleven leadership students and three participants attending an engineering camp are spending two weeks fully immersed in study and cultural experiences. Days are filled with engaging classes and workshops that challenge and inspire, while evenings offer activities that bring American culture to life—like dorm living, hayrides, marshmallow roasting, baseball games, and visits to iconic sites including Philadelphia Hall and the Liberty Bell.

The students so far have visited University of Pennsylvania and Villanova University.  On the agenda are University of Delaware, George Washington University, Georgetown University and the White House.

With another week of learning and adventure ahead, our students are building skills, friendships, and memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you to our chaperones Ms. Augoustatos, Dr. Crain and Dr. Pelonis. Participants include Mashukov Dobromir, Nefeli Tsatsoula, Natalia Papadoglou, Charalampos Mikropoulos, Mihail Chryssos, Sotirios Athanasopoulos, Stefanos Zolotas, Khalil Boueri, Antonios Zygouras, Annaliese Roniotis, Alexandros Korfiatis, Katerina Logan, Daphne Raptis, and Amaryllis Christou.
