This year the Middle School Math Bowl and Pi-Digit Contest were held during the week of March 14-18 in the math classes.
The Middle School Math Bowl event is designed to give students of different abilities, the opportunity to apply skills in mathematics.
It’s a competition that gives students the drive and eagerness to complete as many activities as they can to accumulate the highest score.
These fun activities require visual perception, logical reasoning, problem-solving and computational skills.
In the Pi-Digit Contest, students who can remember and recite the highest number of Pi-Digits are also recognized.
Students are always given positive reinforcement and reminded that these are fun activities to sharpen their math skills. The highest scorers were recognized and awarded with certificates.
