On February 5, ACS Athens celebrated World Read Aloud Day, an opportunity to pay attention to the importance of sharing stories by challenging participants to grab a book, find an audience, and Read Aloud!

Initially launched by LitWorld in 2010, this global effort is now celebrated in over 173 countries and counting!

ACS Athens Elementary School participated in this global movement by having mystery readers from across the campus come into the classrooms and share the joy of reading aloud.

This year's theme year was Caring for Each Other and Caring for the World.

A big "Thank you" to everyone for their involvement and participation!
