"The kind of feedback that motivates: Meeting regularly with parents is a top priority in the Optimal Learning Program (OLP).

As it is the beginning of the year, it is all the more important to set up these meetings, mostly virtual at the moment, to discuss goals and aspirations but also concerns.

So far, all the meetings have gone really well, but what has stricken me the most is that parents wanted to make sure I knew their children had changed the way they see school for the better.

They have a positive attitude when it comes to learning and attending school. They feel more confident.

The following is a direct quote from at least two families I had first meetings with last week:

"Through the way learning takes place at ACS Athens, and the continuous support that OLP provides, my child feels good about coming to school. My child feels useful and safe.

What a huge win this is for our work as educators!"
