This past week-end the annual basketball coaches clinic took place at the ACS Athens gym; it was a week-end of knowledge sharing among professionals of the sport of basketball.

It was a great pleasure and honor to host four speakers who are all leaving their mark in their profession: Coach Charmin Smith, head coach of the UC Berkeley Women's basketball team, Coach James Jones, head coach of the Yale University Men's basketball team, Coach Vangelis Ziagkos, head coach of the U18 Men's National team and Dr. Christos Marmarinos, International scout with the Sacramento Kings. What a wealth of knowledge and expertise!

Our audience, consisting of approximately one hundred coaches (some of which came from other countries) and university students, joined us for this well anticipated event; they all left a bit "wiser" and are already looking forward to next year's clinic!
