Dear ACS Athens Alumni and Community,
We would not be ACS Athens if we did not keep the well-being and safety of our community at the forefront of our activities. Thus, with this in mind, it is unfortunate that due to the Covid-19 virus situation we must postpone this year’s June 13, 2020 Grand Reunion, along with all other events and activities.
Though the idea of not welcoming all of you on campus this year saddens me, at the same time, I am pleased to announce that the event has been rescheduled for Saturday, June 12, 2021. This will, hopefully, ensure enough time to recover somewhat from the adverse effects of this world-wide challenge. Though there was the option to allow the June event to take place with local alumni, even if we could manage the organization, it would not be a grand reunion without our Global alums.
Let’s plan to stay healthy, keep in touch, and continue looking forward to a "super" event in 2021! Remember, WE are ACS Athens!! Nothing can dim the spirit that I have come to know and love as an ACS Athens administrator, as a parent of an ACS Athens Alumnus (Class of '19) and the sibling of an ACS Athens Alumnus (Class of '83).
If you have already purchased your reunion tickets, you may either get reimbursed* or you can leave the ticket amount in the reunion account, securing your spot for next year, even if the price is higher! Please email your preference to info@acsathensglobal.org.
For those of you who have made travel plans through Ann Lappas Stiles, she will be in touch with you or you can contact her directly.
