Nikodym, Barrett, Faculty, Theory of Knowledge
Mr. Barrett Nikodym began his higher education in Minnesota, acquiring Bachelor’s degrees in History and Social Studies Education while also obtaining a Master’s degree in History from Saint Cloud State University. Having spent time during his practicum at Munich International School, it was there that he confirmed his deep belief that international education provides a blueprint toward a better future, not just for students but the communities to which they belong as well. After a year of gaining new perspectives and educational experience in various public schools in Minnesota, Mr. Nikodym joined the ACS Athens community in 2019. This will be his fifth year at ACS Athens, and he believes even further that student-centered learning, diversity, and holistic approaches to education found at ACS Athens foster ethically responsible global citizens.
