Strimenopoulou, Adamantia Kyriaki, Elementary School Math Studio Specialist

Adamantia Kyriaki Strimenopoulou holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Patras and a Master’s degree in Mathematics Education & Methodology from the National and Kapustina University of Athens. She views mathematics not merely as a subject but as a vital lens for understanding and organizing the world.
Ms. Strimenopoulou has extensive teaching experience in Mathematics with a diverse student population. Her career includes significant contributions to educational organizations that support children in need, including those from low-income families, refugees, and non-native English speakers. She has also prepared primary school students for entrance exams, served as a private tutor, and authored a Mathematics book designed to assist students in preparing for competitions and scholarships.
Her dedication to education extends to volunteer work, where she has taught Mathematics to underserved communities, demonstrating her commitment to providing educational support to students facing economic and language barriers. Ms. Strimenopoulou is also committed to her professional development, having completed numerous training programs in educational robotics, STEM, informatics, intercultural education, and strategies for teaching students with learning difficulties.
Guided by Galileo Galilei’s belief that "To understand the Universe, you must understand the language in which it's written, the language of Mathematics," Ms. Strimenopoulou regularly attends seminars and conferences to stay at the forefront of educational practices and inspire her students. Her dedication underscores her passion for using mathematics as a powerful tool for understanding the world
This year Ms. Strimenopoulou will be working with the Elementary School students in the Math Studio.
