Student Bus Transportation
Dear ACS Athens Parents:
Please be informed of the following:
The bus transportation services for the school will be administered as follows:
Each family that elects to use the transportation services will sign a standard agreement with the bus contractor (Paraskevas Sarris) for the 2011-2012 negotiated annual bus fees:
- € 1.150 for Zone A (Halandri, Ag.Paraskevi, N.Psychico)
- € 1.565 for Zone B (Psychico, Filothei, Papagou, Holargos, Vrilissia, Athens-Hilton)
- € 1.765 for Zone C (All other areas)
Prices include VAT (in case of increase in VAT in the coming months, the rates will be adjusted accordingly and will apply to parents of children who have not settled payment).
- The above said bus contract/agreement will be available on the ACS Athens website for parents to print / sign / and return to the Transportation Office in August. Please be sure to sign this contract and mail it directly to Mr. Sarris at Aharnon 70, 145 61, Kifissia.
- Please contact Mr. Sarris at (210) 801-2379 or Ms. Leta Meleki at (210) 639-3200, Ext. 239 to arrange the routes.
- Parents can pay the fees directly to the Contractor, Mr. Sarris, through bank transfer to one of the following three bank accounts: Alpha Bank - 139-00-2310-016438, The National Bank of Greece (Ethniki) - 120-430049-15 or Eurobank - 00260386330100118231. Please fax a copy of your payment receipt to Mr. Sarris at 210 801-2379 for his records. If you have any questions, please call Mr. Sarris at 801-5833 or 801-7396.
- The Contractor will employ the bus monitors.
- ACS Athens will continue to maintain and enforce school regulations regarding student discipline on the buses. All incidents should be reported to the school discipline who, in turn, will refer these matters to the respective Principals.
- Please be advised that the Contractor will also have a representative available at the school beginning August 29, 2011 if you should need to contact him.
