Spring Fair, 2013

W elcome to the 2013 ACS Athens Spring Fair organized by the PTO.  We are delighted to invite faculty, parents, students and staff, to the annual Fair taking place on Saturday, May 18th 12:00 - 16:00.

The Spring Fair has always been a collaborative effort - a fun, exciting celebration of the ACS Athens community that is highly anticipated, every spring.

Even though not its primary goal, the Spring Fair, also manages to raise funds for our school, via your donations and volunteer work, food and other sales.

We will again feature our Y.E.I.A. (Young Entrepreneurs in Action) Student Vendor area.   This is for individual students that wish to have a booth of their own.   The only vendors at the fair will be our students.   Any class, club or student organization can participate, and they keep the funds raised.

As in past years, the most delicious part of the Spring Fair is the International Food Court! You, the ACS Athens community, prepare and donate your specialty dishes and treats for all to try!
All nationalities have the chance to be represented...   We would love to have at least one dish from each of ACS Athens’ nearly 60 different nationalities!

  • Open 9:00-16:00 : Monday-Friday (When school is in session)

  • Hasib J. Sabbagh Library

Come right in, browse and buy! The ACS Athens Used Bookstore is a treasure trove full of surprises...

Lots of lovely books: fiction (children, young adult and adult), non-fiction, cookbooks, coffee table books, Greek language fiction and non-fiction, and books in other languages as well.

All books are € 1. All proceeds go towards the support of the ACS Athens Libraries.

Combined Principal's Coffee & PTO Meeting / Budget, April 9, 9:30

This month due to parent requests from previous meetings, we have arranged a combined Principal’s Coffee.  Rather than the usual separate coffees at different times, the three school principals will be conducting the meeting all together.

You will have the opportunity to meet the principals from each school and learn about what is happening at each grade level.  This unique meeting will allow parents to ask questions in regards to transitioning from school to school, planning for the child’s academic future, school wide programs that may be of interest, as well as any other questions or topics.

The PTO General Meeting and the Budget Presentation will follow (at 11:00 am.) the Principal's Coffee ... The event(s) are as follows :

When: Tuesday, April 9th, 2013

  • Principal's Coffee : 9:30 am - 11:00 am
  • PTO General Meeting : 11:00 am - 11:30 am
  • 2013-14 Budget Presentation : 11:30 am - 12:00 pm
