Angelik Grigoratos completed her Bachelors, Honors and Masters (Cum Laude) degrees in Social Science with an emphasis on Counseling Psychology at the University of Pretoria in South Africa. She has obtained certificates to train as a Family Constellations Therapist, Lifeline counselor and as a HIV/AIDS counselor. As a licensed psychologist (Health Professions Council of South Africa) she worked as a lifeline counselor at Lifeline in Pretoria South Africa, as an HIV/AIDS pre- and post- test counselor in Mamelodi Clinic, as an educator to train teachers in underprivileged environments to help children with learning difficulties, and as a therapist at a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center. At Tshwane University of Technology she worked as a therapist in many areas such as drama therapy, group therapy, couples therapy, career counseling, individual therapy; lectured life skills and stress management skills to first year students; and did psychometric evaluations and report writing.

In Greece, as a licensed psychologist Angelik has worked and is continuing working independently with students with learning difficulties such as dyslexia, ADHD, autism/asperger’s syndrome. She is also currently a shadow teacher at ACS and worked in a group setting with students with learning difficulties at the OM afterschool program at ACS. Since living here from 2007 she has attended several seminars and workshops receiving specialized training in various teaching strategies for students on the autistic spectrum as well as students with learning difficulties.
