IB Preparatory Course for Incoming IB students

This summer, incoming IB Year I students have the opportunity to better prepare themselves by registering for one of our 3 week intensive IB Prep courses. 

We are offering: 

• IB Prep Course:  Math AA and AI
• IB Prep Course: Chemistry
• IB Prep Course: Introducing Research and Ethics in the Sciences: A first look at Internal Assessments and Extended Essays
• IB Prep: Scientific Writing and Data Processing   

When: June 27th-July 17th

The IB Diploma Program is academically rigorous and challenging and students frequently feel overwhelmed with the amount of work that they are faced with. The ACS Athens IB Department and Faculty have developed thorough and comprehensive three-week summer online preparatory courses for students going into Year 1 of the IB. With more than forty years of experience with the IB Diploma program, we can ensure that students will be well prepared to succeed.

Trained to teach both blended and online courses, our qualified faculty bring their experience with ACS Athens online courses to understand the complexities of the IB program by promoting learner-centered instructional experiences and at the same time maintaining student-teacher contact through synchronous and asynchronous virtual class meetings. 

Students will be meeting 3 times a week synchronously using our Moodle platform, and will be required to complete asynchronous activities throughout the intensive 3-week program.

Please note that each course will require a minimum of THREE registered students.
