The course instills in students the skills and knowledge necessary to enhance the health and wellness of self and others across the lifespan. Drawing on knowledge and health issues from the biological, environmental, psychological, social, emotional, physical and mental sciences, students are given the opportunity to apply essential skills to reduce health risks and promote lifelong wellness. Topics of study include those that conenct to various dimensions of health: Emotional & Mental Health; Nutrition & Physical Activity; Abstinence, Personal & Sexual Health; Tobacco, Alcohol & Other Drug Prevention; and Violence & Injury Prevention.

Course Start/End Date:

  • Summer 2022: June 27th to July 17th / Course duration 3 weeks
  • Fall 2022: Starting week of October 3rd, 2022 to week of November 28th, 2022
  • Winter 2023: Starting week of Feb 13th , 2023 to week of April 3rd, 2023
  • Spring 2023: Starting week of April 17th 2023 to week of June 5th, 2023
