Earlier this week, ACS Athens accepted a generous donation of 2,500 medical masks from the Embassy of the People's Republic of China. In a message to President Peggy Pelonis, the Chinese Embassy thanks the school for its "commitment and dedication in providing the best learning conditions to all pupils including our Chinese students.”

The message to Dr. Pelonis continues: "We are in the difficult times of fighting the Covid-19. ACS Athens has continued to provide online high-quality education for all students, while safeguarding their health. This has won positive responses both from the pupils and the parents.” The message by the Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy, Mr. Yonghua Ding, concludes: "In face of the common enemy of the virus, and in the spirit of unity and togetherness, the Embassy is willing to donate 2500 medical masks to your school, based on your needs, which is a small gesture of appreciation. I hope it could help when the faculty and all students start to return to school after the pandemic."

ACS Athens has responded, thanking and accepting the donation, which will greatly assist to properly protect the students from any recurrence of the coronavirus and during the upcoming return of school operations inside the campus.
