We are excited to announce that ACS Athens students and educators will proudly participate in the Athens Science Festival 2019, taking place April, 3-7 at the Technopolis (Gazi), Athens. The festival has become an educational and cultural milestone, attracting annually about 25.000 visitors. In its 6th consecutive edition, the festival is focused on the constantly changing global community with interactive events, labs, talks, exhibitions, competitions and public presentation.
ACS Athens will be delivering 3 interdisciplinary, innovative workshops and 7 interactive exhibitions, covering a wide range of STEAM topics:
Friday April 5th
Interactive Exhibitions
- 9-2pm » A call to stop coal (led by: 4th Grade students)
- 9-11am » Little big minds (led by: 3-10 Grade students)
- 11-2pm » Air Matters (led by: Middle School students; Bakoyannis)
- 11-2pm » Head on the Table (led by: Middle School and Academy students; key contact: Ms Bakoyannis)
Workshop
- 11-12.30pm » Coding Maestros (led by: 2-9 Grade students)
Saturday, April 6th

- 11-4pm » spACS Microgravity Experiments (led by: Academy students)

- 1-4pm » A Gallery of Things (led by: Academy students; Mr Botsios)
