World Kindness Day promotes the importance of being kind to each other, yourself, and the world. This day, celebrated on November 13 of each year, helps everyone understand that compassion for others binds us all together.

This year, ACS Athens 2nd Graders celebrated World Kindness Day with acts of kindness, writing compassionate messages, quotes, and drawing images with sidewalk chalk across our campus, as well as making an Act of Kindness paper chain.

While making the “Kindness Rainbow”, students thought of acts of kindness and traced their hand to remind themselves and others on “How to be a rainbow in someone else's cloud”.

This year has been different and difficult for a lot of people. So, now more than ever, it was a great opportunity to spread some love and positive vibes across our community!

Even a small act of kindness can make an impact in someone's life!
