Addressing ACS Athens elementary school students, Ms. Lakin presented her writing process and shared with them several tools and strategies on strengthening their writing skills.

Students were excited to meet an award-winning author, have their books signed by Ms. Lakin and ask numerous questions about her writing and books.

Ms. Lakin's presentations reinforced and connected with the writing workshop lessons that ACS Athens students have been engaged in since the beginning of the year.
