ACS Athens President, Dr. Peggy Pelonis, extended her visits with distinguished individuals during her trip to the USA - here are some new highlights:

"With Hal Shorey, Director of the Oskin Leadership Center at Widener University, who is looking forward to welcoming twenty @ACS Athens (American Community Schools) students to the Widener Leadership Course in the summer of 2020. True education always comes from a passion for learning!"

"With Chancellor of the University of Illinois at Chicago Michael Amiridis and spouse Ero Aggelopoulou-Amiridis. We discussed a short "Teacher in Resident" program, where our teachers will work with their innovation zone, along with other initiatives. Dr. Amiridis will visit ACS Athens (American Community Schools) in June, as our commencement speaker - what a great honor and joy to have him!"

"I met up with Asteris Dougalis,  ACS Athens Alum class of 19' who is now a freshman at Northwestern University and is really enjoying computer classes and creative writing!
